75.9% of the voting seniors, voted to have a postponed graduation ceremony on August 1, 2020 (This would require permission by state and local authorities at the time of the ceremony).

Grading for K-11

Students in grades 9-11 and non-graduating seniors will be subject to the following grading system for the 2019-20 school
year. The Department of Public Instruction encourages continued remote learning for all high school students until the end
of the current school year.

Grading Release

David Durham Named New Principal at Stokes Early College High School

On Monday night, Dr. Brad Rice announced, to the Board of Education, the decision to transfer David Durham from the principal position at Germanton Elementary School to the principal of the Stokes Early College High School. Mr. Durham is a veteran educator, completing his 25th year, and has worked in nine different schools as a school counselor and administrator. Mr. Durham spent 14 years as a high school counselor, one of which was at the Stokes Early College High School before beginning his career in administration.
